Shane Farrell began working for MDASR, LLP in 2006 as a summer intern and has been with the firm for the past 11 years. Shane attended Eckerd College where he graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Literature. Upon finishing his undergraduate degree in 2012 he became a Claims Examiner assisting injured workers in their claims for Worker’s Compensation benefits. It was this early exposure to assisting disabled workers that inspired Shane to attend Touro Law School. He was active in various student programs which cumulated in serving as the Student Bar Association Evening Vice President during the third year of his law school tenure.
Upon passing the Multistate Bar Examination earlier this year, Shane has now accepted a position as an Associate Attorney with our firm’s Pension Department. He resides in Suffolk County, and is an avid cinema lover.
Tim graduated from Stony Brook University in 2010 with a major in U.S. history and subsequently attended Touro Law Center where he graduated with a Law Degree in 2014. At Touro, Tim was active is student programs and served as Student Bar Association President in his final year of school. Following Law school, Tim cultivated his legal experience by working for a number of law firms specializing in various practices, and in the summer of 2015 he began practicing workers’ compensation defense.
Tim joined our firm in June of 2016 with an enthusiasm to represent the working public. Tim enjoys sailing in the summer, playing guitar, and watching hockey.
Zachary Dworken is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park where he received his bachelor’s degree in Government and Politics. He obtained his law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 2015. Mr. Dworken joined the firm in September of 2015, specializing in Workers’ Compensation Law. He resides in New York City. He enjoys playing Settlers of Catan and was a member of a number of award-winning a cappella groups.
Nancy Pavlovic is a graduate of Washington and Lee University and received her law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. She has practiced in personal injury, malpractice, real estate, social security and litigation including civil and corporate litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. She has extensively appeared before all trial courts of the State of New York, the New York State Appellate Division, the New York State Court of Appeals and the United States Federal District Courts. A skilled and effective advocate on behalf of injured individuals, she is now exclusively devoting her time to the field of Workers’ Compensation. She is an active supporter of the Angelman Syndrome Foundation (Washington DC chapter ) and resides in Nassau County.
Jenna Florio is a graduate of Towson University and received her law degree from Touro Law School in 2013. Throughout law school, she worked in the field of Workers’ Compensation, familiarizing herself with all aspects of a case from inception of a claim to trial. In 2015, Jenna joined our firm as an associate attorney.
In her spare time, Jenna operates a small cake decorating business and teaches dance classes on the weekends. She resides in Massapequa Park with her husband.
Mr. Abrahams is a graduate of Stony Brook University and received his law degree from Touro Law School. He joined the firm in 2009. He has continued to assist injured workers in their pursuit of Social Security Disability and Municipal Pension benefits. He resides in Suffolk County.
Allison Curley is a 2009 graduate of Hofstra University School of Law. With a background in Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice, Allison made the transition to Workers’ Compensation Law in 2011. She joined our firm in March of 2014 and is relentless in her pursuit to protect the rights of injured workers. She resides in Suffolk County with her husband and two beautiful sons.
Bari M. Lewis obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Binghamton University in 1983 where she graduated with high honors and a Phi Beta Kappa key. She received her law degree in 1986 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has been a member in good standing of the Bar of the State of New York since January 1987.
For more than 28 years, Ms. Lewis has been representing clients with Social Security Disability, Workers’ Compensation and Municipal Law claims. She has handled thousands of hearings, hundreds of depositions, countless Social Security Disability appeals in the United States Federal District Courts and dozens of Article 78 appeals before both the New York State Supreme Court and the New York State Appellate Division.
Mrs. Lewis has been married to Martin A. Danowitz, C.P.A. for 29 years and they have two daughters, Melinda, a fourth-year medical student and Carly, a junior at her mother’s alma mater, Binghamton University.
Mr. Schuman graduated from SUNY Oneonta in 1985. He was licensed by the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board as a Carrier’s Representative in 1986. In 1990 he transferred his license and became a Licensed Claimant Representative. Since 1990 he has handled all aspects of Workers’ Compensation claims, including litigation and settlement conferences. He has represented thousands of claimants before the Workers’ Compensation Board in his thirty years of practice. Mr. Schuman has also lectured on Workers’ Compensation topics before various Chiropractic and union groups.
Mr. Schuman enjoys going to the gym and spending time with his wife, four lovely children and their three dogs.
David Donohue is a graduate of Binghamton University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics and Law. He obtained his law degree from New York Law School. David joined the firm in 2013 and has continued to represent injured workers in their pursuit of Social Security Disability benefits and Disability Pension benefits.
He resides in Nassau County with his wife. In his spare time, Dave is an avid ice hockey fan
