Dionisios Georgatos earned his undergraduate degree in Finance and Business Law from Hofstra University, followed by his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law. After graduating, he joined a prominent Manhattan law firm, where he represented clients injured by toxic materials following the 9/11 attacks. This experience provided him with valuable insights into Workers’ Compensation and personal injury law.

After successfully settling the 9/11 mass tort cases, Mr. Georgatos dedicated his practice exclusively to representing injured workers. He has represented thousands of union workers, city employees, municipal employees, home health aides, corrections officers, drivers, and many others. Additionally, Mr. Georgatos frequently speaks at union events and municipal employee meetings, educating workers on their rights.

I received my undergraduate degree in Finance and Business Law from Hofstra University and my Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law.

I’ve wanted to be an attorney for as long as I could remember. My undergraduate degree in Business Law solidified that desire.

I often speak at union meetings regarding Workers’ Compensation law and practice. I enjoy keeping people as informed as possible about their rights. I am also a member of the Injured Workers Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
