He joined the Firm in 1999, becoming a Partner in 2004, and has continued to advocate for claimants before the Board at both the trial and appeal levels. Richard states: “After joining our Firm in 1999, I never looked back because, although we were a much smaller firm than the one I came from, I was able to cultivate strong interpersonal relationships with our valued clients in a way that was not possible before. As we grew larger over the years, I was able to effectuate these types of relationships on a greater and greater scale. I have found the perfect balance of providing personal advocacy on a large scale for our valued clients.”

He has spoken on Workers’ Compensation and Social Security issues before several union and professional organizations.

Richard became Managing Partner of the law firm in 2014. He resides in Suffolk County with his wife, who is a Registered Nurse, and their handsome twin boys.

I attended Hofstra University School of Law. My prior legal experience includes estate planning, administration and litigation including corporate planning, commercial litigation and real estate law. I have practiced before the District, Supreme, Surrogate, and Family Courts of New York, in criminal, custodial and estate matters.

I love practicing WC because it allows me to advocate in a real, personal way for injured workers while standing right beside them.   Coming from a family with a construction Union background , I learned firsthand the dangers faced by workers in construction settings as well as many, many other work environments.   I learned that injuries can and will occur on the job in countless scenarios.   I also learned that workers are almost powerless against an insurance carrier without a strong and effective advocate,  as the carrier always has attorneys at their disposal.

After joining our firm in 1999 I never looked back because, although we were a much smaller firm than the one I came from, I was able to cultivate strong interpersonal relationships with our valued clients in a way that was not possible before. As we grew larger over the years,  I was able to effectuate these types of relationships on a greater and greater scale. I truly believe have found the perfect balance of providing personal advocacy on a large scale for our valued clients.

I enjoy Scuba Diving and Skiing with my wife and twin boys.

I am an active member of the Injured Workers’ Bar Association.
