James Seganti

Partner

James Seganti is a Partner at McIntyre Donohue Accardi Salmonson & Riordan, where he has represented thousands of injured workers in Workers’ Compensation claims since joining the firm in 2012. Known for his tenacity and compassion, James works closely with clients to secure the medical care and financial support they need during some of life’s most difficult moments.

A graduate of the University of Miami with a background in finance, James discovered his passion for law through business coursework, later earning his J.D. from Touro Law School. He was named a Partner at MDASR in 2018 and recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2020—an honor awarded to just 2.5% of attorneys in New York.

James currently oversees the firm’s 9/11 World Trade Center Department, where he leads a dedicated team in handling complex claims for first responders and volunteers impacted by their service at Ground Zero. He also frequently lectures at union events and community forums to educate workers on their legal rights and benefits.

Deeply committed to his clients, James values open communication, trust, and shared goals. He is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and the New York State Workers’ Compensation Bar Association, and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity.

Outside the office, James enjoys skiing, traveling, and spending time on the water. He brings energy, focus, and heart to every case he handles.
