Shane Farrell
Associate
Shane Farrell is an Associate at McIntyre Donohue Accardi Salmonson & Riordan, where he has been a committed member of the team since 2008. Beginning his career as a Claims Representative assisting injured workers, Shane’s firsthand experience inspired him to pursue law. He earned his J.D. from Touro Law Center’s Evening Program while continuing his work with the firm.
Since becoming an attorney in 2017, Shane has represented injured and disabled workers before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board and assisted in retirement system litigation. As someone who has lived with cerebral palsy for nearly 30 years, Shane brings a unique and deeply empathetic perspective to client advocacy—understanding not just the legal needs but the human experience of disability.
Shane holds a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Eckerd College, where he graduated cum laude. During law school, he served as Student Bar Association Evening Vice President and earned multiple distinctions, including the CALI Award for Trial Practice and the ABA/BNA Excellence in Health Law award.
Shane approaches each client relationship with care, knowing they may be navigating one of the most vulnerable periods of their lives. He is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and remains dedicated to promoting dignity, access, and justice for every client he serves.
Outside the office, Shane resides in Detroit and is an avid cinema enthusiast.
