In Steve Hallo’s recent September 19, 2023 article in the ALM Global publication he discusses that the weekly minimum benefits for workers’ comp claimants will increase from $150 to $275 in 2024 and $325 in 2025. By 2026, the minimum will equal one-fifth of the state’s average weekly wage. New York Governor Kathy Hochul signed the bill into law on Sept. 6, 2023.
